Thomas Shannon joined the Lynn Law Firm in 1992 and has since handled hundreds of personal injury cases, as well as continuing his criminal trial practice. He received his law degree in 1982 from Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, California and his Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University in 1975. Prior to earning his law degree, he was employed for eight years with a major national insurance company, handling all types of personal injury claims. After law school, he joined the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant Prosecutor for three years. From there, he was in private practice for five years before joining the Lynn Law Firm. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Florida and Virginia, and has been a guest lecturer for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the New York State Defenders Association. Mr. Shannon is an effective communicator, negotiator and trial lawyer. His excellent people skills have enhanced his rapport with clients, juries and other attorneys. He has tried over one hundred cases to verdict and has obtained numerous million dollar verdicts and awards on behalf of his clients.
